The Cod is a diurnal fish that lives in The Marrows in DREDGE.
It can usually be found in disturbed water spots between Greater Marrow, the starting town, and Little Marrow.
Although it is considered a "basic" fish, and yields only $18 as a base price, it is still more valuable than the Blue Mackerel.

When fishing for Cod, the game utilizes the radial minigame. It can also be trawled.

Real-Life Counterpart
- The Cod (Gadus morhua) is a well-known species of fish, famous for its importance in global fisheries. Found in the cold waters of the North Atlantic, it has a long body with a pale, mottled coloration that can range from greenish-brown to grey. Cod can reach lengths of up to 1.5 m (5 ft) and weigh around 47 kg (103 lb). This species is a staple in many cuisines, but overfishing has severely depleted its stocks, leading to strict fishing quotas to help its population recover.
