DREDGE is a horror video game about fishing developed by Black Salt Games and published by Team17. It was released on March 30th, 2023.
Summary
The player, known as the Fisherman, sails a small fishing trawler catching Fish throughout various islands inhabited by a number of odd characters and darker forces.
Captain your ship to explore a collection of remote isles, and their surrounding depths, to see what lies below. Sell your catch to the locals and complete quests to learn more about each area’s troubled past. Outfit your boat with better equipment to trawl deep-sea trenches and navigate to far-off lands, but keep an eye on the time. You might not like what finds you in the dark...

Editions
DREDGE has been released in a few different editions since it first launched. Each edition has differences in content from the others. Some editions have similar names, which can make it difficult to differentiate them from one another.

Standard Edition
The Standard Edition is a digital release of the game. Its contents solely include the base game. Additional DLC can be purchased through the relevant console's digital store.
Digital Deluxe Edition
The Digital Deluxe Edition is a digital release of the game. As of August 2023, the bundle no longer includes the Digital Artbook or the Original Soundtrack. On PC, it comes bundled with the Blackstone Key DLC, and the base game. On consoles, the artbooks and soundtrack were not included, though the price is adjusted accordingly.
Complete Edition
The Complete Edition is both a digital and physical release of the game. It contains the base game, as well as the Blackstone Key DLC, Pale Reach DLC, and Iron Rig DLC. It does not include the digital artbook and soundtrack.
The physical copy of this version is only available through purchasing the Collector's Edition, or buying the cartridge or disc of the Collector's Edition secondhand. The Complete Edition disc or cartridge is the only release to have any of the DLCs baked-in.
Physical Deluxe Edition
The Physical Deluxe Edition is a physical release of the game. It contains the base game, a download code for the Blackstone Key DLC, a download code for the artbooks and soundtrack, as well as some other Collectables.
Once the codes have been used, they cannot be transferred to a new user. Despite the disc or cartridge saying "Deluxe Edition" on the front decal, it will play as a Standard Edition version of the game until the DLC is repurchased or an alternate code is redeemed.
Collector's Edition
The Collector's Edition is a physical release of the game. It contains the Complete Edition on disc or cartridge for the PS5 or Nintendo Switch respectively. It was not sold for Xbox Consoles as Black Salt Games was unable to convince the distrubutor to agree to do so. Inside the large box is physical versions of the fish notebook as well as other Collectables.
Complete the Set
Complete the Set is a Steam exclusive bundle that includes the contents of the Complete Edition, as well as the artbook and soundtrack from the Deluxe Edition. It is not available on GOG or console stores.
As this is a Steam bundle, anyone who owns one or more of these products can still purchase it, and will receive a discount proportional to the number of bundled items they already own. The more items owned, the lower the discount will be.
Upgrade and Expansion Bundles
The Upgrade Bundle, also known as the Complete Edition: Upgrade Bundle, and the Expansion Bundle are console exclusive Add-on bundles available on the consoles' respective digital stores. The Expansion Bundle only contains The Pale Reach DLC and The Iron Rig DLC. The Upgrade Bundle contains both main DLCs as well as the Blackstone Key DLC.
Though both bundles were available on Steam for a brief few hours after The Iron Rig DLC released, neither bundle is currently available on Steam or GOG. bsg_joel has confirmed that Team17 does not plan on these bundles returning to either store.
DREDGE: Chapter One
DREDGE: Chapter One is a free demo of the game. While it was originally hosted on Steam and GOG, it has since been removed and all digital licenses have been revoked. It is still available for download through the Nintendo Store and Playstation Store on consoles.
The Xbox Store does not have this demo available, instead offering time-limited access to the entire game with the "Get Trial" button. This Xbox trial can be installed on consoles and PC through the Xbox App.
