• The Grey Eel (Anguilla australis) is a species of eel found in the coastal waters of the western Pacific Ocean. It has a long, slender body with a smooth, greyish skin that allows it to navigate through crevices and underwater vegetation. Grey Eels can grow up to 1.2 m (4 ft) in length and weigh around 2.5 kg (5.5 lb). While not aggressive towards humans, their elusive nature makes them a lesser-known species. Habitat destruction and pollution are significant threats to their populations.
