Ocular Ooze

The Ocular Ooze is an enemy added in The Iron Rig DLC. It spawns only among Ooze spills. It cannot directly damage the player, but inflicts Panic and leaves a Dark Splash in the player's inventory.

Ocular Oozes can be dispatched using the Banish ability. Their attack animation completing also removes them from the world, so it's also possible to use Haste or simply rely on having powerful enough Engines to nullify the threat they pose. They cannot directly deal damage, but the panic they inflict is likely to summon the Ooze Tentacle or Gleaming Goliath. The Siphon Trawler can also be used to clear up the Ooze, preventing these creatures from spawning.
