Peculiar Engine

Peculiar Engine is a piece of equipment found in Dredge.

Starting engine.

Player Tip

The game will not normally allow the player to dispose of the Peculiar Engine, much like the Sampling Device. It was intended to be a fallback engine in case the player sells all of their engines and cannot afford to buy new ones. There is at least one shipwreck however in which the player can leave the engine in the Found Items box but may need to have it stored in their storage (not ship) in order to be able to transfer it prior to taking all found items out of the box.

It is also possible to leave it in the Found Items reward box for the Ancient Lighthouse at Devil's Spine.
