The Viscera Crane is a Rod found in Dredge. It can only catch Abyssal and Hadal fish.
Being one of the only three rods that can be used to catch Hadal fish, it can be used as an alternative to researching the Bottomless Lines. However despite being a rare and unique item, its large size and unwieldy shape makes it a poor competitor to the smaller and more efficient Fathomless Winch, which can also catch Oceanic Fish.
Location
The Viscera Crane is obtained from the southern Altar found east of Stellar Basin and west of Gale Cliffs. In order to obtain it, you will have to catch a Hammerhead Shark, Bronze Whaler, Blacktip Reef Shark, and Ghost Shark. The latter is an abyssal fish, so you will need to have at least obtained the Sampling Device.
