These seemingly abandoned Campsites are scattered through out the map, each one is next to a makeshift dock. In each one there are unfamiliar symbols, these symbols are more visible to the player in the Twisted Strand and Stellar Basin camps.

Story

The following information contains spoilers regarding the story or ending of the game. Discretion is advised.

After speaking to the Lighthouse Keeper about the Old Mayor, he will appear on the campsite south of Devil's Spine, next to the ruins. At this point in the game, it becomes clear that all the camps all belong to the Old Mayor.
