General Gameplay Achievements

Catch 250 Fish using Rods.

Install equipment into every slot in your ship.

Aberration Attractor

Catch all Aberrations

Prey Sighted

Spot a fish of each category through your spyglass.

Mixed Results

Use Mixed Bait to attract 3 different species to a single spot.

Cruel Heat

Keep your Haste burn meter above 50% for 10 seconds.

Dimensional Bypass

Travel a long distance using Manifest.

Banisher

Banish 10 threats.

Unsustainable Fishing

Use Atrophy on a fishing spot a long way away.

This achievement refers to the distance from the Disturbed Water when the ability is used, not the distance from the center of the map.

A good way to complete this achievement is to sail to the border of the map, as to avoid other Disturbed Water. Use a bait to create an area of Disturbed water and travel a distance away. Approach in small movements, using the Atrophy ability until you enter the border of the range.

Safe Havens

Visit every dock in the game.

This includes Abandoned Campsites.

Servant of the Shrines

Solve all the fish shrine puzzles.

From the Fog

Hear a foghorn echo.

Providence

Upgrade and Research Achievements

Researcher: Rods

Unlock all rods in the research menu.

Researcher: Nets

Unlock all nets in the research menu.

Researcher: Pots

Unlock all pots in the research menu.

Researcher: Engines

Unlock all engines in the research menu.

Hull: Improved

Upgrade to the 2nd tier hull.

Hull: Refined

Upgrade to the 3rd tier hull.

Hull: Advanced

Upgrade to the 4th tier hull.

Swift Reaper

Have a combined fishing speed of 200%.

No Time to Linger

Have a combined engine speed of 75kn.

Light up the Night

Have a combined light strength of 3000 lumens.

Storyline Achievements

Introductions

Complete the introduction quest.

Completion of the tutorial finishes this achievement.

The Key

The following information contains spoilers regarding the story or ending of the game. Discretion is advised.

Deliver the Key.

The Key is obtained through the story within The Marrows. Return it to the Collector.

The Secret

The following information contains spoilers regarding the story or ending of the game. Discretion is advised.

Surrender the Music Box.

The Music Box is retrieved in the Gale Cliffs, upon completion of the main story section in that area, and is returned to the Collector.

The Bond

The following information contains spoilers regarding the story or ending of the game. Discretion is advised.

Entrust the Ring.

The Ring is obtained within the Stellar Basin, through dredging, and is returned to the Collector. Completion of the main story portion (with the Researcher in the Resort) makes this task safer.

The Chains

The following information contains spoilers regarding the story or ending of the game. Discretion is advised.

Relinquish the Necklace.

The Necklace is found in the Twisted Strand, given to you by the Airman upon completing the main story there. Return it to the Collector.

The Moment

The following information contains spoilers regarding the story or ending of the game. Discretion is advised.

Give up the Pocket Watch.

The Pocket Watch is received within Devil's Spine, given to you by the Fanatic. Return it to the Collector.

Unshackled

The following information contains spoilers regarding the story or ending of the game. Discretion is advised.

Find a use for the relics.

In order to obtain this achievement, players should simply trigger the simple ending of the game, via following what the Collector says simply.

Sated

The following information contains spoilers regarding the story or ending of the game. Discretion is advised.

Throw it back.

Players can obtain this achievement by returning to the Lighthouse Keeper after meeting the Old Mayor. Return back to the Collector, players can then go through a tree of dialogue to reveal the Collectors true identity and take the book from them. After receiving the book, players can head back to the Lighthouse Keeper and trigger the "good" ending of the game.

The Pale Reach DLC Achievements

Under The Ice

Finish the main quest in The Pale Reach.

Polar Angler

Catch all known species of fish in The Pale Reach.

Cold Corruptions

Catch all aberrations in The Pale Reach.

Frozen Favors

Finish all side quests in The Pale Reach.

Icebreaker

Equip the Icebreaker.

Fresh Fish

Have 5 ice blocks in your cargo.

The Iron Rig DLC Achievements

Ancient Angler

Catch all known species of fish in The Iron Rig.

Enhanced Abilities

Upgrade all 3 basic abilities.

Shadowed Splashes

Have 5 Dark Splashes in your inventory.

The Gleaming Goliath

Evade that which stalks the disturbed sediment.

To complete this achievement, find an Ooze spill, and raise your Panic to max. That is fairly easily done by driving over Ooze Tumors. The Gleaming Goliath will spawn, and when it does, drive toward its mouth. Once you get close enough, it will lunge; dodge out of the way, and it usually grants the achievement.

To get this achievement, you must be within an Ooze spill when you dodge; if you are in open water, it usually will not work.

Primordial Deviations

Catch all aberrations in The Iron Rig (excluding exotics)

Missing Shipment

Deliver the missing shipment to the rig.

Rig Architect

Build all levels of all buildings on the rig.

Remedial Apparatus

Equip the Siphon Trawler.

Dark Custodian

Collect a total of 10 Dark Canisters

Hull: Industrial

Upgrade to the 5th tier hull.

Exotic Exemplar

Catch any exotic aberration
