Gale Cliffs is a region occupying the southeast corner of the world of DREDGE. As the name implies, it is a tall, mountainous region with sheer cliff faces making up most of the shoreline. The region's main settlement is the former whaling town of Ingfell, but the Dusty Pontoon inhabited by the Travelling Merchant can also be found here, alongside the crumbling Ruins with the Hermit, and the uninhabited Campsite to the south of the main archipelago.

Dangers

The primary danger in the Gale Cliffs is the Serpent, but it largely stays within the narrow passageways that run between the cliffs. Due to the lack of Night Anglers, the area can be more peaceful to fish in at night when compared to The Marrows. However, there are frequent Waterspouts as well as the dangerous Phantom Shark which can occasionally appear at high Panic.
