The Iron Rig DLC

The Iron Rig DLC, also refered to as the Ironhaven DLC, is an upcoming paid DLC for the game DREDGE that will be released on the 15th of August 2024.
BSG has stated that the plot of the DLC will be about a company called the Ironhaven Corporation, which has set up a deep sea drilling operation for an unknown purpose, although they claim to be trying to improve the local areas economy.[1]

- 8 new craftable pieces of equipment, including new types of Bait, Nets and Rods

- Researchable enhanced versions of some Abilities

History
The DLC was originally slated for release in Q4 2023. However, in a statement on the 28th of September 2023, Black Salt Games revealed that they would be pushing back the release date to 2024, citeing a "need for more lead time" in order to "coordinate our marketing" [2]. In the place of The Iron Rig DLC, The Pale Reach DLC was released.
On the 8th of June 2024, the trailer for the Iron Rig was relased at the Future Games Show summer showcase [3].
Trivia
Community members have speculated that the DLC would be released early in 2024, mostly in the first quarter. Joel from Black Salt Games has confirmed numerous times that this promise was never made.
