Bait

Bait is a type of Consumable used to catch fish. When Bait is in the player's inventory it can be deployed by using the bait Ability which will create a disturbed water or give the player several crabs. Fish caught this way have an increased chance of being a Trophy.

The Mixed Bait is the only bait in the base game. The other baits are part of The Iron Rig DLC.

	Mixed Bait	Spawns a disturbed water which can contain any non-exotic Fish from the current Region.	Crafted by the Airman or purchased from the Travelling Merchant or ??? in the Undermarket, after completing the The Bitter End pursuit.
	Aberrated Bait	Spawns a disturbed water which can contain any non-exotic Aberration from the current Region. This is the only way to catch the Deep Form.	Crafted for 1x Mixed Bait, 2x Rot, 2x Dark Splash, and $75 after upgrading the Factory to tier 4.
	Insta-Crab Bait	Spawns Crabs from the current Region. The Crabs are given to the player in a way that is similar to Atrophy.	Crafted for 1x Mixed Bait, 1x Rot, 1x Dark Splash, and $40 after upgrading the Factory to tier 4.
	Exotic Bait	Spawns a disturbed water which contains the Exotic Fish from the current Region. Must be used in the general area in which the original Exotic Fish spawned.	Crafted for 1x Mixed Bait, 1x Dark Canister, and $700 after upgrading the Factory to tier 4.
