These Repulsion Machine is given to the Fisherman by the Researcher after he gives her the Prototype Parts. Once it's attached to the generator on the research outpost, it can repeal the Stellar Basin Creature for a time. Thus allowing the player to dredge and fish in the area above the creature without fear of an attack.
After activation the repulsion is active for 12 in-game hours.
