The Siphon Trawler is a Net that can be found in The Iron Rig DLC. It is a form of oil skimmer, and is used to collect Dark Canisters.

It can be crafted at the tier 2 Factory for x1 Basic Trawl Net, x1 Ironhaven Crate, and $50.

When used in Ooze it clears up the ooze and fills a gauge at the bottom left of the screen. When this gauge is full, a dark canister is produced.

History

This item was first revealed in a screenshot posted to The Iron Rig Steam page^[1].

Its name was revealed in the description for the Remedial Apparatus achievement.
