The Anchovy King is a Fish that can be caught in Dredge by using a Trawl Net.
It is an Aberration of the Anchovy.
Fishing tips
Players who wish to get anchovies or the corresponding aberration, Anchovy King, may easily do so by equipping the Heavy-Duty Trawl Net and spinning around on the spot east of the small island south of Twisted Strand (in F10 top left corner where it says that there are few fish). This location seems to almost exclusively give anchovies, making it an intensely valuable farming location.
Trivia
- It is one of the game's four trawl-only fish. It can only be caught with the Heavy Duty Trawl Net or Radiant Trawl Net.
- The Anchovy King appears to be three anchovies tied together. This is likely to be a reference to rat kings, groups of rats with their tails entangled so tightly that they can't be separated. In folklore, rat kings are often believed to have supernatural powers.
