Tips

On the way out of The Marrows, there are two notable fishing locations - One at the top of the grid cell K8, and one at the bottom of the same grid cell. Another location is around the middle-right of K9, and this leads into another location in the middle of L10. The southern path has two fishing spots around the Eastern side of J7.

As these are extremely abundant and very costly, the Bronze Whaler is a great source of income for the early game.

Pursuits

Real-Life Counterpart

  • The Bronze Whale (or Copper Shark) is a species of requiem shark, known scientifically as Carcharhinus Brachyurus. It has a slender, streamlined body with a slightly arched profile just behind the head, and a long, pointed snout. The shark can reach a maximum length of 3.3 m (11 ft) and weigh up to 305 kg (672 lb). Copper sharks rarely attack humans, attributed as the tenth species in unprovoked attacks; mainly known for harassing spear fishers. The species is assessed as vulnerable due to its slow growth and low reproductive rates.

Trivia

  • The Bronze Whaler is the foil to the Blacktip Reef Shark. They are only available in the opposite time of day to each other, and their inventory shapes are each others' enantiomeric mirror images.
