The Gulf Flounder is a diurnal Fish that can be caught in The Marrows in Dredge.

The Gulf Flounder is worth only $18, the same as the Cod, but requires a shallow-capable rod in order to catch.

When fishing for Gulf Flounder, the game utilizes the radial minigame. It can also be trawled.

Real-Life Counterpart

  • The Gulf Flounder (Paralichthys albigutta) is a flatfish found in the coastal waters of the Gulf of Mexico and the southeastern United States. It has a flattened, oval-shaped body with both eyes on one side and a mottled brown coloration that helps it blend into the sandy seafloor. Gulf Flounders can grow up to 60 cm (24 in) in length. They are bottom-dwellers, feeding on small fish and invertebrates. Gulf Flounders are commercially fished and are a popular target for recreational anglers. Their populations are stable, and they are not currently considered threatened.
